No doubt, but the question is, professional what?
Increasingly, it looks like CBS news staffers are professional campaign strategists. They're honestly more reminiscent of Terry McAuliffe and James Carville - blatantly cheering on the candidacy of the Democrat - than the objective newsmen of the past like Cronkite and Murrow.
Here is a question for all. If Rather does end up resigning or is forced to resign, will he flip the other networks? Given what we have seen over the years, I think it certain there has been clear collaboration between the mainstream press and the Democrat Party, "gravitas" being a glaring example. Will he simply ride off into the night or will go scorched earth?
