They said that is not a proper journalistic standard. Onus is on CBS to use authentic documents: originals. What originals?

Fineman and Zelnick are not in the VRWC, GOP etc. If CBS was smart they would have an independent investigation as Zelnick suggested. This thing is going to get worse for them otherwise, not that they don't deserve it.

Excellent coverage on the forged Bush gaurd memo's by Scarborough, his guests are really taking Rather and CBS to task. Very refreshing after O'Reilly's pitiful show on this issue on Fox tonight ("I've read everything and don't know what to make of it." Bill is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier).
To: sargon
"Rather will be doing some more backpedalling soon, I predict." Never underestimate the destructive force of selfish ego. Especially in the mind of a self important celebrity.

The criticism was significant, and it was from mainstream news personalities who were not wearing pajamas. This story has legs, even in the MSM.
The media smells the blood that CBS is hemorrhaging. There are a lot of reporters who would like nothing more than being seen as the one who brought down Dan Rather and SEE-BS.

The American people have seen the man behind the curtain, they didn't want us to see. The journalistic profession proclaims it their solemn duty to question everything, as long as a Republican is doing it, but will not allow any questioning of them. I hope we are seeing them throwing overboard, one of the biggest embarassments to their profession.

Even Fineman said he has blogged in his pajamas. This is hilarious. CBS is the laughingstock of the old media.
