To: Darksheare
I missed the VD film in basic training. I know I got back and all the guys were laughing. The memorable part was them quoting the chaplain. "Chaplain said, 'Don't go into the rain without your rubbers.'"

Years later I became a chaplain. By then, they'd dispensed with the VD file.

I never got to use the line.

It was so doggone corny, that I know I would have.

Oh yeah, "Dirty Suzie" as I've heard it called.
The guy wailing on the stretcher in obvious discomfort was more hysterical than it was a warning.
(Saw some short snippets of it, there's a website that has morality film nostalgia. BUT, no snippets of the films.)

Highway of DEATH by far was the one that was unintentionally funny to a 't' in some twisted way.
