No expert with any intelligence is going to form an opinion based on copies. They will only authenticate originals.right and wrong. no one will authenticate on dupes, but dupes can be of such obvious forgeries that a document can be discredited on that basis. (for instance, you can cut and paste a signature and xerox the doc and not know whether the sig was on the original. but if the signature is a forgery, it doesn't matter, because it's obvious even from the copy that the thing is no good.)
