No. Kate Mulgrew is a die-hard Democrat. In fact she's ticked off quite a few Star Trek fans at recent cons by spending a good amount of time ranting about how bad Bush was and how they HAD to vote for Kerry.

Then I don't know which star trek character Heaton was referring to.

Somewhere on the Internet there is a Star Trek actors political affiliation website. I have seen and read it.
There are not many "outed" Hollywood republicans or conservatives in LA LA land. There are more in the technical blue collar production ranks [Below The Line] than the stars!
I think it is much safer to keep your political views to the ballotbox in Hollywood presently.
