You just gotta love the "modified limited handout" - let them pay for the odds, collude illegally, and then saw the branch off behind them...

Well, gosh, if the Dems are stupid and suffering from amnesia, too, why not let them have some fun? For some reason, I have this image of Steve Martin in "Dirty, Rotten Scoundrels" as Ruprecht, sitting at the table holding a fork with a cork on the end...

>>>"another shot at Pres. Bush from US News & World Report "

don't ya love it!

Lt Bush got an honorable discharge. Now the USN&WR thinks their reporterette can interpret service regulations better than the AF and NG!

geesh, will these people get a life? decide to cover something within their realm of expertise? or at least report on something more important<<<

It is funny how all the left wing kooks that traditionally since the 60's have hated the military have now become such experts at analyzing military service, and military documentation.

Also when you take into consideration that it says that he accepts to be active for 120 days of training. He was actually on active duty for training almost 400 or so days.

Almost immediately, he began an extended period of training. Six weeks of basic training. Fifty-three weeks of flight training. Twenty-one weeks of fighter-interceptor training. That was 80 weeks to begin with, and there were other training periods thrown in as well."

That appears to be more than 120 days to me.

"experts at analyzing military service, and military documentation."

and the funny thing about it is, they keep getting discredited and end up looling like idiots . . .

but some "sheeple" will believe what they hear before the contradictory evidence is out there . . . which is why they are doing this slime stuff to begin with . . . their hands are covered with slime . . .

I still think it all will continue to backfire on them. I haven't looked at the threads yet today, but McAwful keeps promising MORE attacks on Bush's service . . . sheesh

Is active duty for training the same as active duty?

Yes.

In fact, you get assigned to an active duty unit. You wear their patches and ribbons. You report to their commanders.

Importantly, THEY have UCMJ authority over you because you belong to them.

Interesting. As I posted a bit ago, Bush served 80 weeks of "Active duty" for training purposes. 80 weeks comes out to be one year and seven months of "Active Duty". Then Bush served on Active reserve for how long?

Now lets compare that to Kerrys "Active duty". Less than one full year on the Gridley and then 4 months "in country". Didn't Kerry then go to inactive reserve status?

Why bother hitting DUh with facts?

It is far more entertaining watching them spin the Demodog's spin out of control.
