yes, in my Officer Basic Course at good-old APG I was a Reserve commissioned officer on active duty
in my class were some National Guard officers from their States completing the course which would be required for promotion
there MIGHT have even been some Regular Army Officers, commissioned out of West Point - but I don't remember any for sure
Most officers then came from ROTC with a Reserve Commission

I guess it is reassuring to know that they still, at heart, really do HATE all of us; and Kerry is a good guy only because of the terrible anti-war and treasonous stuff he did; and his actual service is only good because they thought he could beat GWB with it.
These people are pathetic. I'd like to see them all drafted (if I didn't care about the morale and effectiveness of our Armed Forces, which, of course, I do).
That was what I remembered, but since I wasn't the guest of honor I couldn't say for sure.

When were you at APG? Husband was there fall of 1973, then joined a USAR Chemical Corps unit in Camp Kilmer NJ.
It takes an idiot (Drudge) to act like this is actual, for real, genuine Air Force active duty.

I'll throw my 2-cents into the guessing ring:
1. Blather finds out that he was setup. And like the other dark lord, he finally comes to a realization that the "dark side" isn't all it's cracked up to be.
2. So - in his death throes, he takes the emperor (the MSM/liberal establishment) and publicly throws them to their death.
