Yes, sadly at the expense of real news, and they can't race to tell pound it into us fast enough. This line in the article says it all:

In their effort to make Islam look good and Christianity and everyone else look bad, they are failing to report news. Actual news. To the detriment of us all. They have become bloated with their own self-importance, much like the DNC, and in the fashion of the old soviets or other marxist/socialist state. They will decide what we need to know, they will tell us what we need to know it, when they decide we need to know it. Anything else is unsubstantiated rumor and we should quietly wait for their next directive.
Many of the so-called 'news' agencies have ceased being 'news' and are one giant op-ed, with only one opinion allowed.
