The ComPost is just trying to suggest that the Republicans are up to their old Machiavellian ways, using the flag issue for political purposes. The way the senate is tied up by the Democrats, this will never come to a vote before the election.
I hope it doesn't-because this would be an incredibly stupid move...the momentum is on our side...why grandstand with something like this???
