Chris Matthews is "worried that MSNBC parent Microsoft might pull funding and shutter 'Hardball.' That would force Matthews to look for another berth - possibly on Fox." ...Matthews' contract reported has a provision saying he gets a job at NBC if MSNBC gets sold. It is reported by several sources that Rick Kaplan, who left CNN in the wake of the Tailwind scandal and now runs MSNBC, is a big backer (for whatever reason) of Matthews.

Chris Matthews is toast. Zell Miller ate his lunch. Matthews is so out of touch with the real world, it is pathetic! If MSNBC had any brains they would can his butt tomorrow!!! He is a disgrace. Half the time he is on camera hw is tanked to the gills with the sauce!!! Matthews has a chemical abuse problem and Dan Rather is just plain nuts!!! So much for the MSM!!!

Let Microsoft know that because THEY have their name associated with NBC / MSNBC / MSN that you will not only not buy their products in the future, but that many of the great opensource (i.e. FREE) products below that work as Microsoft replacements will be promoted.
U.S.-based news media needing information on topics not specifically addressed in the list below should contact the Waggener Edstrom Rapid Response Team at
rrt@wagged.com
or 503-443-7070.
Additional PR contacts can be seen here (do NOT accept any excuses, THEY SUPPORT MSNBC AND NOTHING BUT STOPPING THE REPUBLICAN BASHING IS ACCEPTABLE. PERIOD!!)
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/contactpr.aspThere's a VERY easy way to stop MUCH of the MSNBC garbage, simply notify Microsoft that because of their financial and name support of a corrupt, anti-Republican media organization that you are going into openly publicizing freeware replacements to their software products.
First, Lobby the Republican Party and the Republican party faithful (including business) to stop supporting Bill Gates.

If Fox ever hired Matthews, I'd never watch them again. Who needs 'em anyway when there's Free Republic, which provides me with more news, faster and more accurate than what the cable news networks provide. Hell, we even break stories here.

who is the WWE? WWE is formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation.
They had to change their name because of a lawsuit from the World Wildlife Foundation.
This is the exact same way Kerry intends to fight the War On Terror. Take the fight to the terrorists using bizarre court rulings.
To: Lancey Howard
Matthews is getting the exact opposite medicine that is being giving to Mrs. Kerry.
One is hyper, the other is in a stupor.

Thanks that's what I thought. I didn't know about the suit. Perfect analogy.

"...just when you have success in the palm of your hand."
Is that what he calls his little (ahem) member? His small 'member' is a measurement of his common sense. Actually I was thinking lyrics from an old Styx tune...
"You've got it all in the palm of your hand
But your hand's wet with sweat and your
head needs a rest You're foolin' yourself if you don't believe it
This guy, like members of my own family and half of America, is simply on the wrong side of the fence. And if he were on on our side (partisan media is a bad thing) he would be cheered on, not necessarily a good thing.

As with the Kerry's approach to the War On Terror, the lawsuit only took about TWENTY FREAKIN YEARS to change an F to an E.

Why doesn't Matthews get a job for the WWE? Could end up that way.

E-Mail this story AND links to the media today.
John Kerry directly contributed to the lies of the anti war movement AND caused deaths and injuries
to US Military serving in Vietnam AND
directly caused deaths from injuries at home AND countless suicides because of his false testimony.
John Kerry is not fit to be elected dog catcher let alone President of the United States.
ANYONE who votes for Kerry AFTER knowing this data
is guilty of covering up John Kerry's war crimes!
John Kerry, director of the Vietnam Veterans against the War,

KERRY GAVE TESTIMONY BASED UPON FALSE INFORMATION
THAT KERRY KNEW AHEAD OF TIME TO BE FALSE!
September 6, 2004 -- **BREAKING** In Yesterday's Lies: Steve Pitkin and the Winter Soldiers, Scott Swett tells the story of a former VVAW member and participant in the Winter Soldier Investigation who states that John Kerry and others pressured him to give false testimony about American atrocities in Vietnam. After more than 33 years, Pitkin is the first Winter Soldier "witness" to file a legal affadavit regarding that event...
My name is Steve Pitkin, age 20, from Baltimore. I served with the 9th Division from May of '69 until I was airvaced in July of '69. I'll testify about the beating of civilians and enemy personnel, destruction of villages, indiscriminate use of artillery, the general racism and the attitude of the American GI toward the Vietnamese. I will also talk about some of the problems of the GIs toward one another and the hassle with officers.

That would force Matthews to look for another berth - possibly on Fox." .That would cause me to watch Fox for one less hour than I already do.
Where would they find time for him? Cavuto, Gibson, Special Report, Shep, O'Blather, H&C and Greta are all well-established.
While I can't stand Cavuto, Shep, and O'Blather, I wouldn't tune into Spitball with prissy crissy either.

'..if Fox hires Matthews, my family and I will no longer watch....'
I agree! I'm a Fox fanatic(and would hate to miss Brit's show)but seems like, lately, Fox is having way too many liberal guests. And, why did they replace Tony Snow with Chris Wallace? And, while O'Reilly proclaims to be an independent, I rarely(if ever)hear him criticize Kerry but he doesn't hesitate to criticize Bush.

On Fox? Pulleeeeze! They surely jest!. In his dreams; Chris deserves to be on Fox. . .
Surely not in any dream of any Fox viewer.
Sounds like someone fishing for an offer here. . .
Fox better not 'go there'. They need to promote John Gibson; up! Forget about Chris Matthews.

Hey gang...are we forgetting that Al Gore bought a TV Cable Network! He can have Rather, Matthews, Frankin, and the rest of the "Liberal Intelligencia" (oxymoron). He would have even a smaller audience than PMSNBC.
