While GW Bush will be cast as a conquering hero by his political team and accepted by the population as such, history will treat him as Napoleonic. Bush will reach a new lofty level of acceptance by first fear and then staged triumph. Those who waited too long to gain their voice will lose their voice again.

This nutball isn't the source of the memos, only McAuliff's fall guy. He is certifiably nuts. This is an old artical he wrote protesting the war. There is plenty more out there like this. Maybe we shouls start a Burkett thread. The DUmmies will have this guy take the fall for Rather if we don't document everything.

He deserves thanks for his service. But anything he says or writes should be held suspect.

I wish somebody would hunt up similar statements from all those who now claim they knew all along there were no WMDs.
They were so convinced WMDs would be found, they were already planning to denounce them as planted by the US.
