MOULTON Lynne Gobbell never imagined the cost of a John Kerry-John Edwards bumper sticker could run so high.
DAILY Photo by Clyde Stancil Lynne Gobbell said her boss fired her last week because of the Kerry-Edwards campaign sticker on the back of her car. Gobbell of Moulton didn't pay a cent for the sticker that she proudly displays on the rear windshield of her Chevrolet Lumina, but said it cost her job at a local factory after it angered her boss, Phil Gaddis.
Gaddis, a Decatur bankruptcy attorney, owns Enviromate, a cellulose insulation company in Moulton.
Gaddis did not return phone calls from THE DAILY about the alleged Thursday firing.
Gobbell said she consulted a lawyer, but then changed her mind about going to see him. She said she has cried about the incident and must do without income for three weeks while the state unemployment commission decides if she is eligible for compensation.

OTOH, maybe she can get a job as a professional crybaby for the Kerry Campaign--the Massachusetts senator seems to be constantly using them.
Shouldn't some high court in France rule on this, no?
I bet she will be appearing in Skerry's commercials in Alabama soon.
Ding, Ding, Ding! We have a winner.
Well no wonder she's mad. She'd rather be unemployed, sitting home eating bon bons.
Yeah, but look at the size of her bumper. It wouldn't have gotten noticed.
I still don't buy the premise of this article.
Just`from looking at her, I'd fire her too...
So she called the local paper and got a sympathy piece. Wonder if it's on the front page?
She was referring to a flier that she said Gaddis placed in employee envelopes to remind them of the positive impact that President Bush's policies have had on them. An employee at the plant who would not identify himself confirmed the contents of the letter.
Gobbell provided a copy of the flier. It says:
"Just so you will know, because of the Bush tax (cut):
I was able to buy the new Hammer Mill
I was able to finance our receivables
I was able to get the new CAT skid steer
I was able to get the wire cutter
I was able to give you a job"
It further says:
"You got the benefit of the Bush tax cut. Everyone did."

This is according to her testimony, though. I'd still bet that she was fired for cause, and then tried to make a case out of it by making up this lame story.
I agree with that. I would like to have such people around just to see when they have a "come to Jesus" moment and realize the error of their ways. Or you could laugh at their pain when their boy loses.
Has to be something else.
I don't beleive it either. The Dems and the MSM are into making up news now. What an awful time in our history.
One look at the leftist MSM proves that!
Not only is he not obliged to employ Democrats, but the boss asked her if she would remove the bumper sticker. The worker said "You can't tell me who to vote for."
He wasn't telling her who to vote for! He was telling her what she is not allowed to display on HIS property! She can take the sticker off, OR she can take a bus to work, and she can go to blazes and vote for Gus Hall for he cares.
I suspect he would have the same problem if her bumper sticker said, Owen-Corning or Manville. She was advertising for the enemy. (At Pepsi plants, you can get fired for drinking a coke, even if it is a Burger King cup).
I think this story and I do mean "storie" will probably end up in the "Urban Legend" website soon.

So then, it must be assumed that this whack-job woman is aware of the benefits of the Bush tax cuts. If she is so stupid that she still inexplicably supports that scumbag John Forger Kerry, then she deserves to be fired.
Looks like she could hibernate until about next April if she could just find a place to park that ugly car.
