I'm 58, and a FORMER fan of CBS and Dan Rather. I find this story incredible. CBS is squandering a solid reputation in the news business (AND even though they are very left-wing, I think most people respected CBS as a news organization). I say respectED because that is now in the past.

These documents are obviously forgeries. The man who is supposed to have complained about Bush's service retired a year before he is quoted. The Barnes family is NOT backing up the Mr. Barnes who is alleging that Bush was derelict. .

CBS is finished! They've just helped elect Dubya for another four years.

Could it be that Dan has often forged his own signature over the years? I think a handwriting expert ought to go back to the 70's on through the present, and investigate whether this has been the case.
