It shows that Bush has assignment in Denver. Which is what a General said on CNN last week.
If Bush owed extra drills....they were done during this period
Sharp eyes, Brat!!! Brings up a most interesting point,
I was released from the Army early in 1973 (tons of people were let out early in 1973) because I wanted to statrt school in fall semester. I was let go, collected my honorable DD214 with the understanding that I was obligated, should they call, for up to 3 months TDY down the line. Sure enough, in 1975, I got a letter from the government telling me I had to spend two weeks in support (I was a medic) of the New Jersey National Guard training at Camp Drum NY. So I went. I never thought much about it til now.
Bush's add-on may well explain any absences (if in fact there actually were any) .
The Denver dates show that he did the make up drills (if there were any) that the Globe said he owed.
They mentioned a documents signed in 1973.
I think they misrepresented it...but they say it cites that he was to find a unit when he left Texas and complete any owed drill time.
CNN HAD A GENERAL ON THE OTHER DAY THAT MENTIONED THAT BUSH DID HIS DRILL TIME IN COLORADO AFTER HE LEFT TEXAS
(refering to make up drills )
The Globe was busy looking for records from Mass. It seems the dropped the ball.
