The Kerry campaign, along with the entire Democratic establishment, is headed for Ann Richards' fate. Richards had grown so frustrated at her inability to thwart the growing popular support for the unflappable Bush that she was reduced to calling him a jerk. It was the end of her campaign.

Bush drives his opponents absolutely bonkers, forcing them to eventually rip off their masks and reveal their nasty, embittered true inner selves.

Dems are over playing their hand. The DNC and Kerry campaign are coming across as a bunch of osbsessed, hate-driven fanatics. They and the likes of Michael Moore have become the face, if not the spirit, of the Democratic Party. This group of jackals will ensure that the Dems are going to be out of power for a long time to come.

I can't believe they will actually pull the trigger on this charge, which is hardly a technicality in its worst light.

This is just goofy now, except for the real story....the media is making up for the limits of the CFR laws.

Thety've chosen sides and it's sick.

But according to Air Force officials, Air National Guardsmen are not counted as members of the active-duty Air Force."

Do they realize they are infuriating thousands of Guard and Reserve men and woman with that statement?

I didn't read all 400 responses to this thread so if I'm being redundant, my apologies. How can one NOT see the orchestration between the DNC, the Kerry campaign and CBS if this is the DNC's next big attack. It's so freakin' obvious...

Just a thought: maybe Kerry wants to lose.

It would explain a lot of his recent actions.

It would be nice if the MSM – and CBS in particular – would check into that despicable, self aggrandizing, lying, backstabbing, seditious traitor known as Hanoi John Kerry’s service in the US Navy Active Reserve after he returned from his few weeks incountry in Viet Nam and was granted an early return to Active reserve so he could campaign for Senator.
Oh – right. He was too busy committing sedition and treason to bother with his Navy obligation.

To the Dummie crats---the Guard and Reserves are not military fighting units-even though they have died on the battlefield. See references to the Bloody Bucket Brigade.

It is shameful what the Democrats are doing. They are trashing our Guard and Reserve American heroes for partisan gain. Shame on them.

Kerry has nothing to run on. He knows he is losing. He is returning to his base of treasonous antimilitary leftists.

What's next?

Are they going to go back when GWB was running for President of the 6th grade class and he didn't keep his election promise of getting chocolate milk in the cafeteria?

Oooh, he might have promised to allow chewing bubblegum in the classroom as well, let's fry him!!!!!

Kerry has to have a few screws loose, arguing about minutae about whether or not the Air National Guard is part of the Air Force isn't going to convince anybody to vote for him.

Its better for Bush for him to continue on this, its a losing strategy, the people, the electorate, want to know how he is going to wage the war on terror if he's elected. Whether Bush's campaign lit from over 25 years ago was misleading or false or not isn't going to impress anyone.

Kerry apparently has no confidence in his ability to just present his own platform, and try and convince the electorate to vote for it.

The DNC is really, really playing dirty politics. It's easy to tell the con man Clinton got involved.
The RNC has never questioned Kerry's Vietnam era records. They've been more than kind about the whole thing.
The DNC is a bottom feeding terrorist organization compared to the too often polite RNC folks.
