KURTZ: Although I have interviewed Rather and Andrew Heyward, the president of CBS News, and I said, well, look, who are your document experts? So they finally gave me the name of a handwriting expert in San Francisco, and I called him, and he says, I am muzzled, I can't talk, CBS has asked me not to talk to the press....

TUCKER CARLSON, CO-HOST, "CROSSFIRE": Well, I think it's dishonorable. I mean, I feel sorry for CBS. I mean, all reporting depends to some extent on the goodwill of strangers, people give you stuff and you sort of trust it's true, and you can only check it to a certain extent. And if people want to subvert your report, they can. And so you would feel sorry for CBS, and I do. What a loser Tucker is, to feel sorry for CBS. It's clear they only wanted to hear anti-Bush stuff, and we're supposed to feel sorry for them being out to get the president?

The question is who cares what CBS wants, he should answer questions..this is a free country..an ex padre even..
In April, 1960 Father Marcel Matley arrived as St. Michael's first Associate Pastor. He was replaced in October, 1961 by Father George Yahn

Yeah. Isn't this handwriting expert a FREE man? CBS can just ORDER him not to speak? Maybe they are paying this guy BUKU bucks to keep his mouth shut.

What a loser Tucker is. Pee-Wee Tucker is WEAK!
That's what got him his gig on CNN in the first place!

How can Carlson feel sorry for them if they insist on upholding their lie?
That is immoral.

How can Carlson feel sorry for them if they insist on upholding their lie? That is immoral. Exactly. If the documents are proven by the MSM as forgeries, it's too late for CBS to claim to have been duped.

CBS is manipulating the news and public opinion in an effort to save John Kerry and itself.

Don't you get what Tucker was doing? He was acting like Bobby Simone - offering the suspect an "out" to admit the crime.

And just think he is our conservative Representative on PBS.
To: PJ-Comix
That's BS. Sure CBS doesn't want to dig a deeper hole but if the guy has ANY integrity HE WILL SPEAK. He sure had alot to say BEFORE the documents were deemed fraudulent.

Guess this means that, in the end, the media are sticking together and sticking it to their audience.

Rather has his chance at a mea culpa but he chose to dig in his heels after the evidence (and many experts) said the things look fake. Rather lost any chance he had at sympathy when he elected to perpetuate the fraud! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

What he is missing if is that See-B.S. is complicite in all of this.
It's one thing to be fed douments, its quite another to run with them and intentionally shield yourself from counter-witnesses to that do not support your pre-conceived outcome.
The intent was to smear Bush, but See-B.S. has instead smeared themselves and their candidate.
This is almost better than sex.
Almost.

He was acting like Bobby Simone - offering the suspect an "out" to admit the crime. I'd rather take the Andy Sipowicz approach & beat the confession out of them.

This Marcel guy is acting like he doesn't have free will. Imagine a News Organization ORDERING him not to talk to the press! If this guy has any INTEGRITY at all, he won't allow himself to be muzzled by CBS.
BTW, he is the ONLY one cited by CBS vouching for the authenticity of the documents even though he is a handwriting expert, NOT a document expert. Also, how tough is it to superimpose a signature onto a photocopy?
