D*mn.
I thought he was suspicious, but didn't realize I could have checked him out yesterday!
OK - We have evidence that AP is lying.
What are the chances that he "converted" (to the Muslim religion most likely) and "was a SEAL for 5 years in Vietnam" - but under a different name?
Of course, after five years as Seal in Vietnam (hmmmmn - 67 + 68 + 69 + 70 + 71) --Didn't the guy ever take leave?)I'd actually expect him to have aged enough that he'd be dead by now.

Well to be fair to AP, they just interviewed a guy on the street sort of thing. One normally doesn't check out the veracity of that sort of person's claims about his CV. Still, the more arteries of the MSM that are cut the merrier.

Even if the guy had changed his name after serving with the SEALs, wouldn't it have been in the AP's best interest to disclose that information? These shoddy reporting jobs are beginning to anger me. Rawr.

In all the Vietnam years, there were only 200 SEALs that served in Vietnam. Pretty easy to check out if the AP had tried.
