You'll see more of this. The 'anti-bush' ( read: commies ) folks instigating violence. Then, when there is a response, either because of goading or self-defense, the violence will be blamed on the person who reacts rather than the instigator. Typical tactic from the left.
"Your not for Peace?.....
I'll beat the living daylights out of you then!"
Yup. Be careful people. We saw alot of this at the Gore Protests outside of "Cheney's house". They come across the street and get in your face, hoping you'll react violently - as the LeftStream camera's are rolling.
In contrast, a leftie shoved an 8 year old girl to the pavement and the camera-crews didn't enough to capture it on tape.
Typical tactic during NHL games as well. Its called "instigating" - Player 1 throws a hard check or illegally trips another player, Player 2 retaliates against Player 1, referee sees only Player 2 retaliating, Player 2 feels shame in the penalty box while Player 1 is painted as the innocent victim.
Rule Number 1 during public Freeps - make SURE your side has a video camera recording the action at all times, and have at least one videographer operating from a hidden location that provides a clear line-of-sight of the action. It could keep you out of jail and/or the poorhouse if you get sued. One camcorder is good, two are better.
Rule Number 2 strongly discourages lone Freeps for the reason that it makes Rule Number 1 difficult if not impossible to do.
This happened right after 9/11 in Moron County, CA (home of Ratboy). The Communist "Peace & Justice" group starting holding their hate America rallies the weekend after, so a few of us decided to counter them. One of the commies came over and started mouthing off at a veteran in our group, who pushed the guy away. The newspaper called my wife and I (we gave them our phone number as contacts) and said "We found out one of your group assaulted someone in the other group." They're all a bunch of wusses. They're like the smart aleck in class who makes rude noises and blames the kid sitting next to him.
The most you can do is restrain them so they can't hurt you or leave. Life's tough. This may be an unfamiliar situation for women, now you know what it's like.
