"Funny how they still don't see it coming."

Yep. It's going to take a generation before the democrats can figure out how this 'moron' kept kicking their butts.

Excellent! Is US News still fairly decent compared to Time & Newsweek? It's been a long time since I looked inside any of them.

I still get Time and Newsweek. Keeps me regular!

I think US News became just as leftist as Time and Newsweek decades ago. I only read these publications at the dentists, but I think Newsweek has become the best of a very bad lot

They still haven't understood Reagan. They think his success was because he always had a smilie on his face. LOL

[I still get Time and Newsweek. Keeps me regular!]
..............

My local yellow sheet (which I take ONLY to keep up with trash-pickup days) does that for me. If there's anything sillier than young Bernstein/Woodward wannabes writing 5th grade-level editorials on why "chickens should have as long & happy a life as humans" (think I made that up?), I haven't encountered it.

I took US News for many years because it was the only one of the big 3 weeklies that had any semblance of balance. If that's still the case I might start picking it up occasionally. I'm an every-four-years newshound.

You're right. It was only tolerable in comparison to the others. I'll stick to the internet & C-Span since I don't get Fox.

Good cartoon anyway. Thank God for small favors.

Tom Toles is generally leftwing and pro-'Rat, but he is clever and (unlike a lot of other cartoonists) will run with a funny idea even when it doesn't help the 'Rats' cause.

Agreed. Toles is actually clever and can be funny at times. Too bad they pulled his "Randolph Itch" cartoon that used to run daily.
