So why doesn't Bush go in? Is it possible the USGOV has intel NK already has functional nukes, and would use them against Seoul or Japan if the US interceded? Or even missile capability that would reach the US west coast, who knows? I think the point is, that NK **WAS** ripe for a preemption. Our President has allowed the Pandora's Box to be opened. It is too late politically to intervene.
I can only PRAY he was privy to information we weren't and that he will go in at the right time. They can not be allowed to just start lighthing off nukes. Perhaps the Chicoms gave us some reassurance?? Just grasping at straws trying to make sense of a situation that in my rational mind of limited knowledge makes NO DAMN SENSE! /rant

I should say "our PresidentS" allowed it to be opened....Klinton is at fault too...
I know we have a smart and brave leader surrounded by some good folks. There must be a plan...somewhere.

No, it is not "too late", and it is not getting any earlier, either. If we do nothing, they will have 100 bombs in ten years, and have sold dozens to terrorists. You can pay to deal with the problem now, or you can pay to deal with it later, but pay you will. And the climb on the likely damage in lives is about double every two years. Not one off, as long as you care to wait, until it double up to "the US is destroyed".
