Aren't bad conduct discharges/dishonorable discharges matters of public record? Most servicemens' future private lives are ruined if they get a dishonorable discharge. You might as well have "convicted felon" on your record.

Maybe ... maybe not. Maybe Kerry got a "General" discharge (less than Honorable). Remember that thus far, Kerry has posted military records on his web site that he has had ample opportunity to "sanitize" or modify. Some records that are available, he won't release.

The ONLY way to determine the truthfulness of ANY of Kerry's records is for Kerry to sign the SF180 and order the full and complete release of ALL his military records ... and if he doesn't - then let us assume it is because he has something to hide!!!
