I must be suffering from a case of craniumus embeddum myanus because I had no idea about the Kitty Kelly book being debunked...
Who said that "coke in Camp David" claim was a lie and when did it happen?

Neil Bush's exwife is supposed to be the source and she now denies she ever saw Bush do coke at Camp David..

One of the ex-sisters in law I believe.
She was quoted as making the statement but repudiated it
shortly after the book was released.

The Washington Post (among others, I think).
Sharon Bush Denies Kitty Kelley Account
From the article: But Sharon Bush, who is divorced from the president's brother Neil, said in a statement: "I categorically deny that I ever told Kitty Kelley that George W. Bush used cocaine at Camp David or that I ever saw him use cocaine at Camp David. When Kitty Kelley raised drug use at Camp David, I responded by saying something along the lines of, 'Who would say such a thing?'

As I recall hearing, the Kitty Kelly source for the coke at camp David story was one of Bush's sister in laws...but she's come out saying she never said it.

Kelly said Sharon Bush, GW's former sister-in-law was the source of the coke in Camp David claim. Sharon says she told Kelly nothing of the sort ever happened, denied this vigorously. Kelly printed it anyway. A nasty smear.

Ms. Kelly maintains Sharon Bush said the President started doing coke in the mid-sixties. As another poster put it very well on another website "only pimps and the French did coke in the sixties" with the possible exception of Bill Clinton.
Sharon Bush said shw never made the statement. Kelly needs to get her hearing aid batteries replaced.
