Don't you people get it? Fox views news that appeals to you as enticement to stay tuned in. They'll toss out enough goodies to keep you hanging on. In the meantime, they'll throw up Kobe and Scott Peterson and inuendo and titllation.

It's all about advertising revenue. They'll never quite drive the stake into the Vampire's heart....it would be killing their gold-egg-laying goose.

News = entertainment = advertising bucks. Why else would there be so much trash mixed in with the news? Is it better than the alphabets? They present, you decide.

Thanks. Yeah, Colmes has become a total hack. He had to. Franken almost kicked his a$$ because he wasn't dishonest enough.

Angle seems like a good guy. I might try to contact him.

Why are we here at FR sitting around waiting for the MSM to do their "Jobs". Maybe it's time for FR to enter the ring. We have the talent, technology and the resources to make a difference. The Swift-Vets have the model we need to follow!

Sean Hannity is too focused on a limited range of info and responses. I don't think he has a great memory, he refers to notes all the time. Maybe we need to send him more stuff to work with, talking points from the real researchers here at F.R. He doesn't have much time with his radio show, book promotions, etc. Let's give him more to work with!

Damn! Fox, just one week ago, was the darling of FR and the only news show anyone with half a brain would watch. Now they are crawling with libs and part of the MSM.

Gimme a break.

Try the outline of "problems" with the documents forgeries at Q and O weblog. Lots of interesting information.

So Fox news won't do it because the Leftist media-advertising empire would strike back?

Yep, Rupert has a lot of money and he doesn't want to get blackballed. When you get that big, remaining that big is all that matters. No one looks out for the people.

Rather should go down. Justice demands it. This is looking like it's going to turn out like the OJ verdict. Dan is going to get off because nobody has the stones and commitment to the public to finish him off.

The blogosphere and the new media is our only shot. FNC and Fox broadcasting channel is part of the establishment. And Fox takes all the criticism in the world and they never fire back. They don't defend themselves and they don't defend the people-- it's a shame.

Did anyone see Wendall Goler's report on the memo's? Was distracted by family but thought he said Pentagon says the memos are frauds.

The report was that three separate analysts at the FBI had concluded the documents were probably not authentic.

I'm only saying that the reason they exist, or the reason they say they exist, is to seize on Rathergate and take the partisan media out.

I think they are looking into the PO BOx number to see if it was from the TANG.

It was, at the time. One of the documents released by a military document repository, before January of this year, recites PO Box 34567 for the 111st FIS.

Perhaps Fox should read this: Dan, You Partisan Slut

"Colmes has become as bad as Juan. I cannot stand that man. He KNOWS the memos are fakes, yet it's still "It's the story not the documents that matters". How does Hannity stand him,"

Hannity should come to the H&C show Monday and show Colmes a "memo" claiming that Colmes is QUEER AS A $3 bill. Then tell colmes that Fox has decided he MUST prove the he is not QUEER rather than discount the accusation, or he will be terminated.

After all, it is the seriousness of the charge and not the evidence (or lack thereof) which is important.

That would have been really funny had they been that sloppy.

LOL

Isn't the fact that they didn't do it on Sunday night a big deal?

Sunday night is the big night. The fact that they put this on the less well watched Wed night is significant. Dan ran with this phony story and nobody said anything. They let him do it because he's Dan.

On Fox at this instant: Kelly Wright said that three Pentagon officials believe the documents are FAKES. Otherwise, he repeated the Rather line, but then ended by quoting Killian's son that his (late) father liked Bush.

I too am a little suspicious of Kelly Wright. Brit Hume often has to pull the facts out of him.

I sent an email to Fox this morning already. Made the same complaint. I advise everyone to do the same.

I gotta take back the "FBI" report. It was three opinions from the Pentagon.

< Greta wrote the rudest response I've ever gotten from a media person. >

If you were knocking Kerry I bet it was rude.
John Coale, lawyer with Coale Cooley in D.C. and Clearwater, FL and husband of Fox News commentator Greta Van Susteren is one of Kerry's biggest backers and is a personal friend of the man.
