He confirmed to the newspaper that a meeting was held last June between Al-Zarqawi and a Lebanese fugitive, Emad Mughania, at one of Al-Quds corps centers in Kermanshah providence in western Iran. The source said Mughania played an influential role in forming the Al-Mahdi Army. Al-Mahdi Army belongs to the strict Shia religious cleric, Muqtada Al-Sadr, and trains its members in camps inside Iran. He also mentioned the entrance of Shia fighters from Lebanon to Iraq dressed as religious studies students. These fighters then join Al-Madi Army under the supervision of Emad Mughania. Mughania underwent a cosmetic surgery recently in a sanitarium for the revolutionary guards in northern Iran to change his face. This is the 5th surgery for Mughania, who's been chased by Western and Arabic intelligence organizations for a number of years now. The source said Mughania kept his relationships with Aymen Al-Thawahiri, the number-two man in Al-Qaida organization despite the difficulty of contacting him lately. He added that Mughania submitted a report early this year to chief of the revolutionary guards intelligence after a visit to Iraq. The report outlined the importance of expanding a framework of collaboration between Al-Mahdi Army and Al-Zarqawi's group. Muqtada has lost his standing among the Iraqi shia, especially Al-Najaf, while gaining more supporters in the Sunni triangle.") (Read More...)

The odds are that the numerologists will be right on certain numbers (dates). That's just the way it is.
The numbers, the moon cycles, the Muslim holidays, martyrdom celebrations and remembrances and the Islamic Calendar in general seem to be important elements in the eys/minds of some of the Islamist extremist/supporters/terrorists.
Good to hear from both of you - and that you're okay. Snowbirds up north reporting to me they still plan to spend the winter in Florida.
Do I have time for a shower?
Now waiting for the lefties to come out crying that their rights are being trampled, when on airliners many lives (including each and every one of their rights) can be crashed in an instant.
You weren't kidding...
Waiting....they are already out there.
Have you been listening to those blatantly anti-Patriot Act ads, by the way?
Iran has all-out right to war against US, Israel
Midwest Airlines cancels flight due to Arabic writing in magazine
out = our. I better cook dinner and exercise those keyboard fingers before I even think of posting again!
This article has brought new concerns. If Iran is smart and froggy enough, they'd launch a pre-emptive strike against Israel and US vis S. Iraq. This could be the prelude to justify it in world opinon.
Thanks for the links, MamaD. I'm trying to catch up.

What is the warning, graphic and disturbing about? All I get is red x squares. Would a good guess be the beheadings?
Thank you for the link Layoutguru2.
Yes.
It is interesting to read/see/hear the "raw news feeds" vs the sanitized, glossy, ready-for-prime-time news.
