Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe today said neither his organization nor John Kerry´s campaign leaked to CBS documents questioning President Bush´s service record, which may have been forged.
He suggested White House adviser Karl Rove could be behind the documents.
"I can unequivocally say that no one involved here at the Democratic National Committee had anything at all to do with any of those documents. If I were an aspiring young journalist, I think I would ask Karl Rove that question," Mr. McAuliffe said.
Asked later if he believed Mr. Rove or Republican operatives were involved, he said: "I am telling you that nobody — Democratic National Committee or groups associate with us — were involved in any way with these documents. I am just saying I would ask Karl Rove the same question."

He should be asked that question every time he sits down. Then he should be asked if it was someone in the Kerry Kampaign (like John Sasso) or anyone else. Just drive him mad with the constant question coming back at him.
And remember, he is now quoted as later having said he and the Phlegmocrats stand behind the memos. Apparently, Karl Rove is now assimilating even the Phlegms.
Strange, shouldn't he be insisting they are not forgaries?
You and I remember the same thing. On some thread, some article somewhere today, he was "standing by" the documents he had nothing to do with and were probably Karl Rove's fault.
Even Imus was exposing this fraud this morning on his show, and he's a left leaning Independent.
Just remember who Terry McAuliffe is aligned with- the Clintons. That's all you need to know.
When they say that it usually means they're in it up to their ears.
The key word is "leaked". If they are forged documents they can't have been "leaked". They were "manufactured" and "delivered" but the word "leak" would be inaccurate.
