FWIW, I did hear O'Reilly's radio program yesterday. He had a caller who asked which candidate he (the caller) shoudl vote for. O'Reilly's answer? "Neither one. Neither is looking out for the little guy."
Blech!!! This is just his speil, the thing he has decided to be about. The "folks" and the "little guy" are his chosen theme but it is all very calculated. After all he's putting on a performance, he's doing a show and the show has to have some kind of reason to exist otherwise it's just another news show. I have been rich and I've been poor but either way I have never thought of myself as a big guy or a little guy...so I don't relate at all to what he trying to do. Who are these people who think of themselves as "little guys" who need somebody to look out for them? I always just tough things out on my own or with the support of a few loved ones or close friends. Why in the hell would I turn to a TV host? I don't get it.
