Drudge did amplify it. Give him his due. He has 10 million hits a day.

It started here, moved to powerline, etc...but Drudge is the reason everyone knows. He provided the headline and the links. Just my opinion on the matter.

Because people KNOW about Drudge - he's been all over the main stream at one time or another.
FR will get there some day as well;
and when that happens we might be just as hard on a 'popular FR' as we are on the popular Drudge.
