This place continually amazes me. You could ask a question on any topic, from medieval history to classical music to nuclear physics, and there will be be (at least) several articulate answers.
My guess is that this hoax was perpetrated by the 527 group, Texans for truth. I saw the head of this group on Scarborough last night and the ad that he has made, accusing Bush of shirking his National guard duty. My guess is that this guy is behind the forged docs and the Barnes lie.
This would have stayed uncovered for at least a month in 2000... it would have surfaced months after the election in 1996.
IT WOULD NEVER HAVE SURFACED IN 1992!!
