Yes my parents and I did a 'drive-by' prayer. It really is astounding that her statue is intact. It was so close and the devastation of the church so complete that it is nothing short of miraculous.
I don't have any more information other than what is on the news. I do know that when we went to church Saturday night, that the Ukranians were going to have service right after ours--news cameras were set up in the choir loft.
The pastor offered them use of the Catholic church until St Mary's is rebuilt.
God bless him for this generous gift to the Ukrainian Catholic Community.
