There is no need to round anyone up.
Just tell them that the social security numbers they have submitted are invalid, and do not match their names, so they cannot work.
When they cannot find work, most of them will leave the country on their own accord.""

Tell me how an employer can do that when they are hiring. To the best of my knowledge, there is no website or method to check these docs when you are trying to hire someone.

The employer finds out 6 mos to 18 mos later, when the IRS/SOC SEC ADMIN gets the W-2 data, and then cannot match it up. Some states get quarterly data, and can inform employers earlier. By then, the "employee" comes in with a new set of docs and the "employer" starts over with a "new" employee until the cycle starts all over again.

The illegal intruders know to almost the minute how long they can pull off this game, and edgy employers keep the game going. Trying to find cheap labor leads to problems with the health system, etc, as we on FR all know.

When the Soc Sec admin can come up with an internet system that matches names. ss numbers, and a photo, then perhaps employers who want to do it right stand a chance. Until then, I will donate time, horses, and effort to guard the borders, with others of like attitudes.

BTW- San Jose Medical, a large hospital is closing at end of this year. They cannot serve the paying population when the illegals must be treated by law and they cannot collect. sKerry and others talk about the millions who have no health insurance, but they are talking out of 5 sides of their mouths. Illegals drive up the costs. Lawsuits drive up the costs. Lawyers like John Edwards and his crap drive up the costs. Then it leads to people like me who haven't had health insurance for 9 years because the monthly premiums are so high. I just cannot afford it. So I hope not to have any problem that I cannot just go to clinic and pay cash. Am I in jeopardy? Hell, yes, but paying monthly the same as a house payment doesn't work either.

You have the right idea. With modern technology, online verification is perfectly feasible.

But the truth is, neither the government nor employers really want to do it.

But if the voters clearly indicate they want it done, it will get done.
