Dan Rather probably had nothing to do with this particular fiasco, but he needs to be retired anyway. </i?

Somewhere on here today I read that the staffers were upset because Rather insisted this go on last night.

Yeah! If this brings that [characterization omitted] down, I'm going to celebrate by ordering a pizza (that's a huge celebration for yours truly). He suppressed the story of Monica's dress for what, a year? Two? And of course, the real story -- Clinton's corrupt administration -- then got suppressed in favor of lies about Ken Starr and (mostly) true but spun stories about the dress.
