Here's another dollop of sugar.

Were the documents genuine, the network could claim First Amendment privilege and refuse to name sources. But forging military documents is a federal felony. If the documents are fake, the network has to give law enforcement authorities the names of the sources.

They're in a Catch-22.

I like it. i just hope the Justice Dept. follows up... like they DIDN'T (or haven't) with Sandy Burglar.

Howdy, Pub'! Back after throwing a quick burger down my throat - I wouldn't miss this night for the world!

Felonies have been forgotten before - remember McDermott? - but I think this one's already gone beyond the "find a fall guy" stage. CBS is going down over this and Kerry's people may be attached to the anchor line as well. Look for the Johns to suddenly recall the economy, stupid, or maybe the homeless, or perhaps a "hey, look over there! A bird!" They're done.
