Thompson YES!!!
Boswell NO!!!!
Boswell has voted just the opposite on most major issues that I've contacted him on...through ConservativeAlerts.com
Thompson was close last time if I remember right...and I hope Salier (spl?) gets a chance at Harkin next time around too....I think he'd have fared better than Ganske did.

Boswell typifies the rural Iowa democrat. Doesn't bother trying to figure out what is importat and is well trained to think that if the democrats say it, it is right. They would rather be bitter about the 80's than protect their hunting guns or stand up for the morals they teach their children.

Then you have DSM. Loaded with a bunch of liberal wannabees. But it is getting better. Us in the 'burbs are a pretty conservative bunch.

I hope Salier goes after either Harkin on Vilsack, but I think Gross will be going for the Gov's job. His recent activities and the PR they are getting is bumping up his name recognition a lot. I'd take either (preferably both) in those two posts. One thing I do know is that if Salier runs - his will be the first campaing (I'm a youngin) that I will volunteer very substantial time to.

We need people like Salier and Gross in office.
