No . . .the real question is:
Q. Did Bush meet with the enemy in Paris and collaborate with them?
A. No.
Q. Did Kerry meet with the enemy in Paris and collaborate with them?
A. YES!

Yeah, and CBSNews.com now has a story questioning the authenticity of the documents.
THAT's how sure they are.....bottomline

I spoke to someone a few minutes ago who's familiar with how the documents were vetted, And he expects us to believe hearsay about hearsay?

Yeah, well Michael Moore is pretty sure of himself, too.

The democrats are going to regret so loudly proclaiming that they were going to fight dirty. This won't look good for them even if they didn't have anything to do with it.

(c) the appearance of the documents matches the appearance of other documents created at the same place and time. This means CBS also has other documents, purportedly created at the same place and time. Let's see em.

In addition, people who knew Killian well have confirmed that the memos are genuine. I guess Killian's son who served with him at that time and has raised doubt about these memos, actually didn't know his father as well as CBS' sources. Yeah. That's the ticket.

Then CBS should come out and say where they got the documents, who authenticated them, and why they did not contact the family of the deceased man.

Then CBS should have no problems naming the sources then.

...I thought it was worth passing on the fact that CBS is pretty sure of itself on this.I'm convinced. I'll take their word for it.

They believe that (a) their sources are rock solid, (b) the provenance of the documents is well established, and (c) the appearance of the documents matches the appearance of other documents created at the same place and time. After all I have seen tonight, I will be very curious to know how officers of the Texas Air National Guard were happily banging out word-processor type documents in 1972-73 when essentially no one else was doing this as most authorities have it.
I also want to know why a retired officer is mentionqed as active. Other than that, fleece me! I'm a lamb.
