In the August 18, 1973 memo "discovered" by 60 Minutes, Jerry Killian purportedly writes: Staudt has obviously pressured Hodges more about Bush. I'm having trouble running interference and doing my job.
But wait! Reader Amar Sarwal points out that General Staudt, who thought very highly of Lt. Bush, retired in 1972.
This is from NRO's Kerry Corner.
OH it just gets better,a lie is a lie.
The thing about lies is it has to be told the same way exactly each time.
Has anyone seen the letter praising Lt Bush after this letter has supposibly was published? By the same killian?
Anyone wanna find it and compare type sets?
Doogle

Well, that expalains why Killian was having so much trouble doing his job. He was worrying about superiors who were no longer in his chain of command.
