In a damning condemnation of left-wing behavior, a new book on the Al-Aqsa Intifada, quotes Hamas leaders saying that the behavior of Israel's left-wing encourages them to continue their attacks.
The book, The Seventh War written by journalists Avi Yissocharov from state-run Voice of Israel radio and Amos Harel from Haaretz was based on a comprehensive investigations and interviews with Hamas leadership in Gaza and Israeli prisons, carried out by the two journalists.
Yissocharov told Channel 1s New Evening program this afternoon that Hamas leaders told him over and over again that it was the Israeli left-wing that encouraged them to continue to carry out terror attacks.
Yissocharov outlined the general consensus among Hamas leadership he had interviewed for the book: The Israeli left-wing and your peace-camp are what ultimately encouraged us to continue to carry out suicide bombings. We tried, through our attacks, to create fragmentation and dissention within Israeli society, and the left-wing encouraged us in that regard. When we heard about the Pilots Letter, the refuse-niks and the elite soldiers refusing to serve [in Judea, Samaria and Gaza ed.] it strengthened our confidence in the effectiveness of the suicide bomber. The disengagement from Gaza is proof of our victory. The fact that Sharon is willing to withdraw unconditionally is basically equivalent to raising a white flag and retreating. Only by force are we able to teach the other side what to do.
Ping.
No doubt about it!
Do you think John Effin' Kerry sees the parallels here?
I firmly believe that the A.N.S.W.E.R. monkeys who march in the streets for terrorists should be rounded up. Only a fool doesn't understand they're knowingly inviting another September 11 or Beslan.
The Israelis are amazing. There is obviously a substantial portion of the populace in Israel who really want to see Israel destroyed by the savages. The Americans might be foolish enough that the terrorists will never reach us, that September 11 was an aberration. For the Israelis there is no excuse. That is just suicidal craziness.
We've all seen the silly dims who protest at Bush speaking engagements. Some dims dress in pinstriped suits and cocktail dresses and sip from plastic wine glasses to try to portray the Republican party as rich fat cats. Has anyone ever see Protest Warriors or similar groups dress as Mullahs with "Mullahs for Kerry" signs at a sKerry/leftwards event? Maybe wear some (not TOO realistic) bomb belts and a toy Kalishnakov rifle. That could be pretty amusing. (this article makes it even more inspiring)
Peaceniks responsible for damaging the ability to fight terror? No. Really?
These people, NOT Bush, are the ones with blood on their hands in this country just as they are responsible for the death of Israelis AND even Palistinians that don't favor suicide attacks!
I have no respect for them, or their propaganda networks.
If you'd like to be on or off this middle east/political ping list, please FR mail me.
And of course the anti-American left within is encouraging al Qaeda, just as Quick John encouraged the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong when he outed himself as an anti-American leftie.
I don't think there is much question but that the anti-war movement in the US encouraged Iran and Syria to unleash their terrorists in Iraq.
Whereas it originally seemed to them Bush would deal militarily with either if they tried, the anti-war movement made it appear that he could not.
And so hundreds of Coalition soldiers have died because of these scumbags, who have all but taken over the Democrat party.
later
of COURSE they are....michael moore calling the iraqi insurgents "minutemen" and saying "they WILL win!"
WARNING: This is a high volume ping list
Kerry-lovers, take note!
When will the worlds liberals ever learn?
Weakness merely encourages these people.
If the Jewish voters in the US continue their habit of voting primarily Democratic in this coming election, doesn't that also rally the suicide bombers in Israel?
Of course it does, but try to find a damned utopian that cares. All they care about is their own anti-capitalist agenda, regardless of who it hurts or kills.
Yes, they certainly are. They did it during the Viet Nam war and their doing it now.
