They are two different fonts. Look at the lowercase "t" in each example. One is curved; the other is not.

I think this amateur forensics is extremely silly and counterproductive. If you really want to help Bush, shut up about "proving" anything.

That certainly appears to be the case.

To your knowledge, were any of the letters in MS Word default font modified in subsequent versions to accomodate new functionalities?

In your opinion, are there plausible explanations for all the other peculiarities in these "documents" that have been noted in various FR threads (eg. the superscripted numerals, the "i" tucked under the preceding letter, the conjoined letter pairs, the proportional vs. mono font, the marginal justification with no hyphens and a perfect match to MS Word default example, etc, etc)?

Does one need to be a professional with a sheepskin on the wall to see what is plain to the eye, to draw common sense conclusions from what one sees? What was Michael Faraday's educational background? Edison? Shall I continue?

Fred Barnes is now telling Brit that the Weekly has already consulted with 4 or 5 experts in this field with experience working for FBI, etc. who all independently call them faked. It would seem that the professional forensics of these experts harmonize with the "amateur" forensics of freepers. Coincidence?
