LIBERAL MANTRAS
On Reagan's watch, it was "Iran Contra"
That was the magical liberal mantra,
Now that the liberals are a hurtin'
Their new mantra is "HALLIBURTON"!
"HALLIBURTON, HALLIBURTON!" they shriek loudly,
"HALLIBURTON, HALLIBURTON!" they chant proudly,
"IRAN CONTRA" did not bring Nirvana,
"HALLIBURTON, HALLIBURTON!" neither canna.
Conservatives are not too mystical
We are more with things statistical,
The War on Terror must be won -
But will not be with Hanoi John!
So, a mantra we, too, must chant,
It must have a Reagan slant -
What can it be? What can it be?
