The documents I am looking at do not have any obvious unevenness in them, aside from some artifacts from scanning them. There are some faxed copies that display unevenness, but that is inherent in faxed documents.

Look at the LC 'r' in the Aug. 1 document. Particularly at the beginning of the word, it's not properly struck. This is a fancy-schmancy font, but it looks typed to me.
And let's get real here; if you were going to forge this, you would have least used a typewriter. They think the people are stupid, but they surely don't believe we're that stupid!
