Does Kerry want out?

DOES KERRY WANT OUT?

Despite the conventional wisdom that Kerry has been planning a run for the Presidency his whole adult life, feels entitled to it, and has created situations and photo ops all along the way to support it, I think the man in his current meltdown is showing the unmistakable signs and actions of a person who has decided he really does NOT want to be President of the United States. Is this a conscious realization for him, or is it subliminal? Who knows. Has he realized that, unlike his Senate career where he can have both prestige and name recognition...(Do you know who I am???) without working very hard at all, he will actually have responsibility and accountability and will have to show up for all the hard "votes" if he is President?

Has he come to the deep and painful understanding that he perhaps truly does not have the psychological stamina or thick skin that will let him survive the challenges and rigors of the Presidency? Has he decided (and who could blame him) that at 60 years of age and as a cancer survivor he really would prefer to live in luxury with his love, Teresa, enjoying their multiple homes, sailing and windsurfing rather than in the fishbowl of the White House? Has it sunk in that the world really IS a dangerous place and is he scared that maybe he does not have the answers to lead this nation that is both the sole superpower and the world's punching bag? Does he deep down feel guilty about the tragic repercussions of his Jane Fonda anti war stance, and have a sense of shame and unworthiness even though his pride will not let him say so? No one knows the answers to these questions....perhaps not even John Kerry himself.

All I know is, that like the teenager who gets a "tummy ache" and stays home on the morning of the big ACT test that will get him into Harvard, or like the little girl who continually "drops" the ball in centerfield because she really does not want to be out there nearly as much as her Daddy wants her to be a ballplayer, or like the adulterer who "accidentally" leaves clues so he will get caught by his wife, this man, this Presidential candidate is sabotaging himself.

This is not a stupid man. He is sabotaging himself and he can't help it.

Well, it's an interesting theory, but I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that...yes, this is a stupid man.

I think this might not be too far off the mark, given all the "time outs" Kerry has given himself in the last year, brief vacations in one palacial playground or the other. I also think Kerry might have decided Teresa "does not have the psychological stamina or thick skin that will let him survive the challenges and rigors of the Presidency?"

Teresa has sort of faded from view since things started going south for Kerry.

Kerry is not use to hard work. Look how he is as Senator. Now he is realizing that being President is indeed hard work, and he will step down and Hitlery will step in.

His arrogance makes him stupid. I think he believed he could bamboozle the entire US because of his "wins" in Taxachusetts.

There might also be some behind the scenes griping from Terayzah.

And is quite unfit to do so.

If the Dems switch candidates, it will only go to further demonstrate that the party is in complete disarray and we don't need anyone from that bunch trying to lead our country in these difficult times.

I think John Kerry is having his doubts about really wanting to be president. He showed zero leadership in the Senate. What kind of energy and commitment could he put into being president. Aside from the adulation, the pizazz and glamor of a presidential campaign, why the heck would he want such a demanding job? John Kerry has fits of ambition but is basically a lazy bas*ard who marries into money.

On the day when he goes into the voting booth and pulls the curtain shut behind him... he will vote for Bush. So will Theresa.

I HAVE A QUESTION....

Does Anybody Know What Kerry Would Do If He Got Elected?!

I Have Not Heard Him Give Any Real Details As To What He Would Do...or...How He Would Pay For The Vaugue Half-Ideas He has Sorta Mentioned.

He's definitely a guy who's bitten off WAY more than he can chew, and it shows. If he drops out, there may be a civil war between the Clintonistas and the radical Bush haters who have taken over the party.

This would require some deep introspection. What he did in Vietnam and with the VVAW proves he is incapable of deep introspection. He wants power and doesn't really think of much else beyond that. It's a moot point, because like it or not, in November he can go back to windsurfing and hanging out with the Ketchup queen.

***Courageous Viet war hero with 4 medals comes home and courageously tries to stop the US tragedy in Vietnam.*** This fable has played well in liberal Massachusetts for Kerry for the the 30+ years.

This man is a turn coat on the USA. He is a terrible faker,
he will lie in ruin. Sure, everyone who hates the USA wants him elected.

Can you imagine what Reagan would say about this guy?.."Wellll I thought just having a Democrat in the White House was bad, but now they`re considering a communist? We must tear-down-that-wall!"
