I've manually printed superscripts and subscripts by hand by "half-rolling" the carriage back up a notch.
BUT - Are the superscript letter the exact same size as the regular letters?
Again ... Why go to all that effort?
If the memo is addressed to "nobody" then nobody is going to read it, so why superscript letters?

Highly unlikely that a man who typed th one space separate from the number in previous memos then waved a magin wand and created smaller keys on the typewriter and move the roller up half a click for a CYA memo.
CBS knows this was faked - that's why they pulled the "expect handwriting analysis and third party evaluator" or whatever. They could deflect blame when caught.
