What about this scenerio:
Thousands of sleeper terrorists walk into elementary schools, middle schools, and other voting sites the morning of election day with suicide bomb belts on. They blow places up all over the country, causing chaos and keeping people from voting. Then we have to come up with an alternative voting date and/or method for this year.
The October surprise will be........
John Kerry was in Viet Nam.
An Alqaida act before the election is expected. It might or might not happen, but it would hardly be a surprise. A surprise is a surprise only if it is a surprise.
Al Qaeda is likely looking to repeat its success in America. The terrorist leaders would dearly love to see President Bush replaced with Senator Kerry who has a weak Senatorial record when it comes to national defense and fighting terrorism. But launching an October Surprise attack may reawaken Americans to the terrorist threats we face and it could affect a November election outcome that would surprise Al Qaeda leaders.No doubt about that to me.
Bush, either way!
Unless we're Michael Moore and the democrats. In that case, we would sympathize with them.
If that illegal leak of court documents cost George W. Bush 0.53% of the vote, then it cost him the "popular vote" in the 2000 general election.
Releasing all of Kerrys military records, would be surprise...

What about this: DNA that was found some time ago has finally been verified to be that of Osama.
