I received an e-mail at 2:07p today (9/8/04) from the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Half-way down the page I clicked on the ship to donate. An address was given for checks to: Swift Boat Veterans for Truth
C/O Weymouth Symmes, Treasurer
P.O. Box 26184
Alexandria, VA 22313

Further down, the letter was signed by Roy Hoffman, Admiral, USN with a link to www.swiftvets.com. I later received a thank you from admin@swiftvets with a transaction #. I saw nothing out of order, however, I could have turned away from my computer and did not see a pop-up.

Is this the same e-mail you are talking about?

The Swift Boat vets e-mail appears totally legit. I think SDR is mistaken or is planting a bogus story to deter donations to the Swift boat vets. SDR should post the email immediately.
