Luckily there are millions of Americans who were draft age in the '60s (or who are wives of '60s draft age men), and no matter how the willfully-ignorant media try to spin this, the facts of President Bush's Natinal Guard Service cannot be sold as incomplete or inadequate in any way.

Few if any in the media ever served in the guard, reserves, as a draftee or as a regular. They have no concept of military service.

As a reusult they tend to believe what Kerry says about the nasty American toops.

Three million served in Nam... another 3 million served at that time but were in Europe or other parts of Asia.

That makes 6 million served and peraps another 12 to 18 million influenced by those who served.

Half of those 24 million people are Democrats. I think Kerry has lost about 5 or 6 million of those people due to the Switft Boat story. They are not likely to come back to Kerry,
