Damned good question, Trav. Damned good question.
I would love to see the U.S. develop a network of teams, intel gatherers, informants and support people in various nations across the globe that specialized in one thing only: eliminating these orcs as soon as they rear their ugly heads. Some rabid Jihadi sh!theel pops up and spouts this crap, the next day they're dead. A long-term pattern of that would curtail their activities, through fear, attrition, or both.
WARNING: This is a high volume ping list
Have you read "The Justice Cooperative" yet? It's about a revenge system for violent criminals who just need killing.
I think websites that post terrorists names, addresses, pictures, routines etc might be a good step. They should not get safe haven in the West, to plan more terror.
I know, this is Bush's fault too, right?
Methinks the loudmouth is an agent provocateur.
"The mujahedeen [Chechen terrorists] would not have wanted to kill those people, because it is strictly forbidden as a Muslim to deliberately kill women and children. It is the fault of the Russians," said Bakri.
Apparently, killing is bad, but torturing, maiming, tormenting, abusing and the like is just peachy keen with this group.
It seems this iman has plenty of followers --- groups even in the USA who worship and obey him. Islam is extremely flawed in that way, the muslims are taught early on never to think for themselves, never question anything at all that an iman tells them. Even with the internet, their favorite web sites are "ask the iman" where they can ask the iman if they can brush their teeth. In fact if they criticize an iman it's the death penalty -- a fatwa will be placed on them.
Which the FBI should be taking apart completely right now.
