I'm a simple guy, don't know much about the ways of the wide world outside my bunker. Can anyone tell me why the Russian Army engineers don't just break out all of their bulldozers/earthmovers and dig a 20' moat all around the "breakaway republic of chechnya", ring it with razor wires and install one gate? Give the good citizens of Chechnya (read Christians and Jews) ten days to get out. At the end of the ten days, slam that gate shut and give Spetznaz responsibility for containing them. Nobody in, nobody out. You're on your own, you filthy savages.
That idea works for me and I suspect for Mr. Putin also. Those left would eventually turn on each other - could be a pay-per-view reality show.
