Suborning perjury is a felony. Suborning perjury for the purpose of undermining our war effort is treason.

Well, those guys weren't under oath, so I don't think it qualifies as suborning perjury. It does indicate that Kerry's claim to have merely represented the "testimony" of the Winter Soldier witnesses, men who he had no reason to disbelieve, is false, like so many others things associated with Kerry.

This is the single most important story of this election season.

The word "testify" presumes the fact that the one testifying has been placed under oath. The proper word for unsworn testimony would be "stated" or "said" or something less than "testify." Testify means that the person stating the fact has attested to the truth of the matter stated.

Perhaps the article is worded wrong. Was the testimony at the Winter Soldier meetings sworn testimony? I don't know, but reading the article suggests that it was.
