You should all be listening to Glenn Beck right now. He is talking about the Kitty Kelly book making it's claims about Laura Bush smoking pot in the 60's. He is having people call in to say what they did in the 60's. This is going to back fire on these stupid libs. They are at all all time low, and just think because they say it .... it will stick. I think you are correct. The Swiftboat Vets were effectively portrayed by the major media as acting at the behest of the Bush campaign, and now, I suspect that the point will be made that the Swiftboat campaign was done to 'cover up' President Bush's record.
Truth does not matter--I thought that the Swiftboaters were a litle too naive, and I suspected that the backlash would not help Bush.
LOL! It is gonna take A LOT more than that ad. One bubba saying what he "didn't" see? PUHLEEZE!!!! The Swiftvet Ads were powerful because (1) it was new information and (2) there were MANY men making the charges. I'll admit I was a tad worried when I heard Moveon was going to try this. But, after hearing the ad, I just have to LAUGH!
