-Life on the Ballot-

Life on the Ballot is supporting the Parents' Right to Know and Child Protection Initiative.

This initiative will require that one of the parents or guardian of a minor girl seeking an abortion be notified by the abortion provider before the abortion take place.
Signature gathering for this initiative will begin in early Fall 2004. We have 150 days to collect the required 598,015 signatures-- until early  2005.

Petitions will be available for signature gathering in early Fall. Check this website for updates. Information is also available in Spanish.

I thought this was a worthy cause. Check the website to get a petition, to donate, or to find out how else you can help. Thanks!

As noted, 31 other states have such a law and a Zogby poll shows that 71% of Californians favor such a parental notification law.

She's under the age of consent, but old enough to decide against life? The Dims never cease to amaze me, just when they've gone as far as one can imagine possible, they do something even more evil and deviant.

Would it be realistic to get it on this November's ballot, or is it too late for that?

The site says "We have 150 days to collect the required 598,015 signatures-- until early  2005."; So they aren't aiming for this Novembers ballot.

Please pass this site on to your CA friends; thanks!
