Typical thought processes of big lib media "journalists" like Brokaw. I know many Bush-hating Dems who are not fond of gay marriage, abortion, anti-religious actions by the ACLU, and other manifestations of lib insanity. Somebody like Brokaw, who is from S. Dakota, must know this. They don't even recognize when their lib biases show through...which is most of the time. They think that the societal preferences and mores of upper-Manhattan, far left libs is the norm for the entire country. They simply don't live in the real world. Americans, of either political stripe, are actually far more conservative socially than most big-shot Dems would like to admit. The truth is that Republican views of right and wrong are far closer to what the average American believes than todays elite Dems who have fallen off the left edge of the American ethical universe.
